How long is a class

The beginner classes, intro classes and private parties run
90 minutes.  The
beginner and beginner 2 courses run one night a week for 4 consecutive weeks.
Intermediate and advanced classes run for 4 weeks for one hour.

What do you do at a pole dancing class?

The beginner course teaches over 40 moves including the Hurkey, Princess,
Fireman, Goddess, Alley Oop etc… These may not mean anything today but soon
you will be talking the lingo. We incorporate and teach a routines to go with the
moves you learn in the class!

The Beginner 2 course teaches 40 moves including the variations and
combinations of the moves learned in the beginner series. You will also learn
another routine. This class is usually repeated, as the degree of difficuty is
higher.

The intermediate course goes into inverted poses, static poses and some
advanced spins. This one is usually repeated, as the degree of difficulty is much
higher.

The advanced class is for the true athlete!

We do provide some music but you are more than welcome to bring your own CD’
s in case you have a particular song you would like to dance to. Don't forget your
camera on the 4th week of class!

Can men attend?

The classes do not allow any spectators. If interested in a couples class in one of
our venues please call for details.

What time should we arrive?

You should try to arrive 15 minutes prior because we do start on time.  We teach
a lot and completely fill the 2 hours.

What do the women wear?

You will need to wear yoga type pants a sleeveless shirt or t-shirt and you will
need to bring short shorts to every class! Spins require yoga pants and poses,
inverts and climbs require shorts so have both with you at all times. Most of the
pole dancing is done barefoot but we do introduce heels in the 4th week of the
beginner class but only if you are comfortable in them. Otherwise stay barefoot!

No – lotion or oils on hands, arms or legs. Sorry ladies we need your skin clean
and smooth and don't want to make the poles slippery.

Also no jewelry. We don’t want to scratch the pole or get your skin pinched!

Do you do theme parties?

Absolutely! We have Valentines Day parties,  bachelorette and birthday parties,
Christmas parties, etc. We can bring many different kinds of accessories so just
let us know. You name it –we can do it! This is all about having fun! Please if you
want a private party - Book well in advance.

Do you sell anything?

We offer some pole dancing merchandise through our Ferndale location and our
online
store At the end of the evening I have everyone fill out a Class Survey
Form which asks you if you want to take the next level class,  purchase a pole or
DVD. It also gives you a chance to critique our class. Our venues however have
been very generous to hold our lessons in their establishments so please take
time to browse, eat or order a drink or become a member.

What if I need to cancel?

If you cancel more than 14 days in advance of your class, the money is
refundable. Within 14 days there is no refund as we have held your spot in the
class. Sorry ladies no exceptions.

What if I need to miss a class?

Notify your Kari at 810-300-7455. We do not do makeup classes but it is possible
to meet your instructor 30 minutes prior to your next class depending on
instructor availability, advanced notice and the extenuation circumstances for
missing your class.
